The Associate Governmental Program Analyst independently performs more complex analytical tasks in a fast-paced, production, and cooperative environment. Independently review and analyze legal pleadings, settlement agreements (e.g., insurance, lawsuits, court decisions, etc.), and assignment of claims. Make independent decisions to determine how the payments made by others impact the claims to the Fund. Use the various comprehensive database systems and hard copy files to research and document information. Communicate with attorneys and insurance carriers representing claimants on a variety of legal issues associated with the settlements.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
