EPM students meet Former Governor Jerry Brown
Last night, EPM students Amanda DeMarco and Emily Zakowski attended "Wine, Wildfire & Climate Change," a lecture in a series presented by the Robert Mondavi Institute and UC Davis Library on food and wine. Former Governor Jerry Brown and UC Davis' Dr. Anita Oberholster spoke about the need for agriculture to adapt to climate change and the effects of wildfires on wine grapes. During the reception, Amanda and Emily had the opportunity to meet and speak with Gov. Brown. Both students expressed to him that his dedication to combating climate change continues to motivate them as masters students in environmental policy, and they hope to journey down a similar path as they dive into the work force after graduation next week.
